Ninoy Aquino Parks and Wildlife Nature Center is Quezon City's very own zoological and botanical garden at the heart of Queazon City. This 80-hectare complex houses about 38 species of trees and shrubs, which are represented by 2,443 trees commonly found in Philippine forests. It also keeps Philippine species of birds, mammals, reptiles and amphibians in an open-air amphitheater (mini zoo and wildlife rescue center). There are cottages available for conferences, meetings, seminar, etc. The park also has children's playground, man-made lagoon for boating and fishing, rock garden, and craft village. Specimens of the country's various flora and fauna, including the famous monkey-eating eagle, are found here.
