Pasyon

This is probably the most famous form of poem during the time of the Spaniards because this is where the narration of the life of our Lord Jesus is being expressed. It is being sung along with the declaration of Jesus’ life. The song relates the life of Jesus from the time that he was born, arrested, persecuted, nailed on the cross up to the time that he resurrected.

O Diyos sa kalangitan
Hari ng Sangkalupaan Mabait, lubhang maalam
At puno ng karunungan.
