Reminder: Make sure that you have read and understood the rules before logging on to the chat server.

The GP administrator have set the following house rules to maintain the peace and orderliness inside the chat rooms and to keep a warm and comfortable environment for most of its users:

(1) Please refrain from insulting, provoking or using fighting words against other chatters. No invectives or cursing will be tolerated in the chat room. Any offender will be warned, depending upon the degree of the situation.

(2) No flooding. Taking up 3 posts consecutively or non-consecutively with no meaning, or with the same message, or with the same line of message are considered flooding. Please be considerate to other chatters. They may be waiting for responses.

(3) GP Chat is open to all ages. Sexual comments are strictly prohibited in the chat room. No invitations, provocations or simple broadcasts, sexual in nature, are allowed in the chat room.

(4) Language used in the GP chat room should be limited to Tagalog, the different Filipino dialects and English, provided that they do not insult or curse other chatters using any of these languages.

(5) GP Chat will not condone any form of discrimination against color, race or sexual orientation.

(6a) Please be considerate in choosing your handle. Do not use handles that may be offensive, insulting or handles with sexual intonations.

(6b) Do not use a reserved handle or a variant of a reserved handle for your own selfish motives. Using a member's handle and claiming to be the real one for malicious intents, such as to destroy a member's reputation, cannot and will not be tolerated.

(7) Turn CAPS OFF. CAPS ON is equivalent to "shouting". You can however use CAPS in certain words to "highlight" them.

GP Operators:
GP Operators (OPs) shall enforce the rules stated above and are vested the power to punish offenders. They have full discretion to warn or "kick" or ban chatters that violate the GP house rules. OPs are easily identified with the "@" sign attached before their handles in the chatters list.

GP Chat is not responsible for any outcome of any kind of any transactions or meetings between chatters.
