Aling Conching sells different brands of candies somewhere in Alabang. She uses a sidecar to peddle her goods. Over the years, she has built a rapport with her loyal patrons. She allows credits, too, but added that she doesn’t hesitate to confront those who are delinquent when it comes to paying.
She starts selling candies at 7 am and goes home at around 5 pm. She takes a day-off on Sundays so she can attend to her household chores like doing the laundry, cleaning the house, and cooking special treats for her three grandchildren.
She likes to sell as many candies as possible, but said she needs more budget, “E kung me budget lang ako, e di sana meron akong mall na punung-puno na ng kendi,” she ended.
