Non-Hodgkin's disease is a type of lymphoma, which
is a cancer cells are found in the lymph system.
The lymph system is made up of thin tubes that
branch, like blood vessels, into all parts of the
body. Includes
the spleen, thymus, tonsils, bone marrow, lymph
nodes, and a network of very thin tubes that carry
lymph, a colorless, watery fluid, from the
tissues, back into the bloodstream.
Two types of lymphomas
1. Hodgkin's disease - can occur at any age.
2. Non-Hodgkin's disease - disease most often
occurs in people over age 50; it also occurs in
high-risk groups such as organ transplant
recipients and patients who are immunosuppressed.
Symptoms:

Shortness of breath.

Difficulty breathing.

Wheezing.
-
High-pitched breathing sounds.
-
Swelling of the head or neck.
-
Difficulty swallowing.
-
Painless swelling of the lymph nodes in the
neck, underarm, stomach, or groin.

Fever.
-
Weight loss.
-
Night sweats.
Treatments:
