PRICKLY HEAT


Heat rash is harmless and marked by the presence of red small spots on the skin. Very itchy skin rash common in hot, humid climates.

Symptoms:

1.  Small red spots which appear on sweat prone areas like armpits, back, under the breasts, groin, etc.

2.   Very itchy.

3.   Redness and mild swelling in the affected area.  


Causes:

1.      Blocked and inflamed sweat glands.

Remedies:

1.      Calamine or anti-itch lotion.

2.      Avoid heat and sweat induction.

3.      Dust talcum powder in body creases. 

4.      Wear light, loose-fitting clothes.
