Electric
shock occurs when a person touches frayed wires or
faulty electrical appliances with wet hands or
while standing on a wet ground.
1. You should first cut off the electric
current by switching off the power mains.
2. If this is not possible, push the person
away from the source or point of contact. Use
wooden or rubber coated object in doing this and
make sure you stand on an insulating material.
