When people ask me what my greatest achievement is, I always say my children. And motherhood is my greatest role.
Being a mother is not easy. It's very physically draining, for one. And, just imagine, you are responsible for the development and nurturing of this new life. It's quite a challenge, I tell you.

But nothing comes close to being as fulfilling or as rewarding.
My two boys have been a source of great pride and joy. Both Luis and Ryan are smart, respectful and very considerate persons. It always makes me smile seeing Luis dote on his younger brother. And Ryan, he's his brother's biggest fan. I'm glad that Luis has been a good role model.
I must admit I needed assistance. Good thing I had good help around the house. And my mother used to take care of Luis when my work schedule was too demanding.
I try to be very hands-on when it comes to my children. There are some things that I don't just leave to the nannies. It is important for me to know that even outside the house, Ryan eats properly. And of course, I make sure that he drinks milk. I've always known that milk is good for us and that it is the best source of calcium. I feel so lucky that my own parents instilled in me a love for milk at a young age.
Milk drinking should be made a habit, especially for kids, to optimize their growth and development. And for mothers like me, let us nurture our children with not just one but two glasses of milk everyday.
I believe that milk drinkers have more to offer in life and to our society in general. Children who grew up drinking milk are more well-rounded, well-grounded individuals. And I firmly believe that as the future builders of our nation, that is exactly what our children should be.
