Nueva Ecija is said to be the largest province in Central Luzon that has approximately 550,718 hectares of its total land area. It is located in the northwest of Pangasinan, Tarlac in the west, Bulacan in the south, Aurora in the east and Nueva Vizcaya in the north.

The province has a number of worthwhile attractions like Peñaranda River, which has steep limestone walls on both sides. Other attractions are Rizal Hot Spring, Burburayok Springs and Pajanutic Falls. Barrio Puncan in the town of Carranglan has been titled "Little Baguio" because of its cool mountain breezes.

Mt. Olivette in Bongabon was chosen by pilgrims of the Adarnista Spiritual Community as the site for a hilltop church. The mountain is renowned for its medicinal springs.

Minalungao National Park and Diamond Park in San Jose City are the best spots for the picnickers and sightseers. Historical sites such as Camp Pangatian Shrine in Cabanatuan City and General Luna Statue and Marker can also be found in this province.

The Novo Ecijanos is predominantly spoken Tagalog which comprise for about 60 percent followed by Ilocanos and Kapampangan. Generally, the soil of the province is from complex materials and alluvial soil, which is good type for agriculture. They used to plant agricultural crops like rice, corn, onions, vegetables, and sugarcane. People here are also operating fishponds.

They also make products to be export like gifts, toys and housewares which were made of capiz, rattan and bamboo; garments, handicraft food processing, footwear, metal crafts and ceramics are also in their line.

Three major bus companies such as Phil. National Railways, Pantranco and Baliwag transit are the ways to reach Nueva Ecija province. From Cabanatuan City to Cubao, Grace Park and Divisoria; Cabanatuan-Tarlac route, Cabanatuan to San Jose, Rizal and Cabiao are the routes of Baliwag Transit Inc. while Pantranco.s are in Cagayan, Dagupan, Baler, and Manila.
