Getting there

winding roads from the airport to
Badian Island is worth it once

the island is smooth, though some
towns have roads that will
occasionally jolt you off your

there’s a gradual change from
every place – from urban to rural
– as you go near your
destination. The trip offers
alternate views of mountains,
forests and sea.
From the town of Mercado, a
shuttle will bring you to the
pier where a speedboat awaits.
The trip from the pier to the
island takes only about five
minutes.

Every weekends of summer,
visitors are welcomed with
festive music. Guests of the
island are given welcome drinks.
The beachfront has numerous
triangle shaped huts, lounge
chairs, open-air bar, dining
hall, a souvenir boutique,
elegantly shaped swimming pool,
dive center, and spa.

The suites exhibit a combination
of local and Bali-inspired design
– with white and brown as
predominant colors. Beads,
shells, bamboo, and rattan are
the predominant materials used in
accessorizing the room. There are
different suites that could
accommodate different numbers of

other hand, offer a good view of
the sea. Every room has a marbled
bathtub. Hot and cold water is
available 24 hours a day. There
are particular rooms that offer a
good view of the lagoon.

restaurant offers continental and
oriental dishes. Fresh seafoods
like fish and squid are grilled
to perfection - much to the
delight of foreign tourists that
frequent the island.

The spa offers packages that

three-hour indulgence package is
the spa’s best stress busting
package. It starts with a flower
foot scrub followed by body
scrub. Well and able masseuses
lather a concoction of natural

inhabit the beautiful corals.
