About 34
kilometers away from Manila is
the province of Cavite. It lies
at the southwest entrance of
Manila Bay and is bounded by
Batangas in the south, Manila
and Manila Bay in the north,
Laguna de Bay in the east and by
the South China Sea in the west.
Cavite offers
a lot of interesting spots
especially in culture and
history. The
first successful Philippine
revolution against Spain was
waged in Imus and ended with the
proclamation of the Philippine
Independence, held in Kawit on
June 12, 1898.
