Antique houses, buildings, churches and museums are a few of Pasig’s attractions.  The Immaculate Concepcion was built in 1575; Bahay ng Tisa, one of the oldest houses in the country was built in 1850 and Concepcion Mansion was built in 1937.

One of the oldest towns founded by the Spaniards in 1572.  Pasig has been set up as an encomienda under the authority and protection of the Alcalde Mayor of Tondo.  Due to its strategic location, the town has always been in the middle of war and conflicts.  Upon the arrival of the American troops, the capital was stationed under a military rule that makes way for the creation of a public government.

The big blast of the city’s economic progress started when Asian Development Bank was constructed 10 yrs. ago.  Since then, major corporations, big lending and financial institutions have found their way to the metropolis.  Some of the businesses found around the area are RFM Corporation, Honda Cars, Inc., LG Collins and some of the country’s major corporations like Nestle Phil., San Miguel Corporation, MERALCO, Pure Foods Corporation, and Jollibee Foods Corporation.
