Renowned healing priest Fr. Fernando Suarez is currently in the country holding healing Masses for his fellow Filipinos. The faithful has flocked in large droves to his Masses with hopes of being healed and to receive his blessing.
Fr. Suarez was born in Batangas in 1967 and got a degree in Chemical Engineering. He has spent much of his life living and working in the country, but went to Winnipeg, Canada in 1995. There, he pursued his calling to be a Roman Catholic Priest. He joined the Companions of the Cross religious community in 1997, and was ordained to the priesthood in 2002.
Even early in his life, Fr. Suarez sensed God's calling to help people who were sick, and he found that those he ministered healed. He found that though his hands he was able to convey the healing touch of the Lord to the faithful. His gift became even more evident after he was ordained to the priesthood. His first year was spent as the associate pastor of St. Timothy's parish in North York, Ontario, but in 2003 he was given a new ministry in his community where he could foster his gift. He established a charitable organization in Canada called Mary Mother of the Poor, and is building the a shrine of the same name in Montemaria, Batangas.
He has since spread his blessings and has shared his gift to thousands of those who in need of healing. Today, he regularly conducts healing Masses, retreats and missions, drawing large numbers of people to attend.
Wherever he is, Fr. Suarez radiates joy and humility, and one can immediately sense how he's been touched by God. He continues to spread His love and blessings, and touch the lives of others.
