Another young girl with Filipino blood has made a name for herself in the U.S. Born to Filipino and Mexican parents and raised in the California, Jasmine Villegas moved to Los Angeles to pursue music at the age of 11. It was there that entertainment entrepreneur and producer Damon Dash discovered her. Soon, she came out with her debut album entitled "Anything's Possible." With her soulful voice and R&B grooves, she has since been compared to the likes of Alicia Keys and Whitney Houston.
